A Few things that you should know when booking an appointment with Dr V

• For new patients a long appointment is required. There are a couple of reasons for this. One, the first time I see you we do not know one another so I will need to gather a summary of your health both past and present. This is very important for a positive ongoing relationship. Two, this might take some time, and I do not like to run late and I want to respect your time, ensuring you have a long appointment means we will not encroach on another's booking time.

• I work with a nurse. Sometimes I will ask the nurse to do your obs for me or other tasks I may require for your benefit. When my nurse calls you in, please go with her.

• My patients understand that when they have any tests done I always expect them book a follow up for the results, my motto is "you take the time out to have the tests done, then you take the time out to follow up and get the results". 

• I will often send out reminders for you to book in, these could be for an injection you might be due for, or an annual health assessment it could be for a healthy heart check, asthma management, cervical screening etc. whatever it is please prioritize your time and book in.

• I do not do skin checks
